Hello world and bienvenidos to my newsletter. My name is Phillip Max Polar and I am a writer from Los Angeles, California born of Peruvian and Costa Rican descent. Honestly, you can get to know me and my writing style more through my stories and articles than you can through a random resume post, so best to start there … If you’re still here, then know you will be engulfed in a multitude of random weekly, bi-weekly journal notes and post—short short stories within those notes—throughout your periodic visits. I’m gonna do this my way basically, and I hope to grab your attention with some real coverage of our world on the road. A nomadic lifestyle will ensure there will be no shortage in tales of (mis)adventures here. So read awhile and feel free to like, subscribe and or critique. So Why Subscribe?

My goal with this newsletter is to bring you a raw and uncensored view of my spiritual revolution while trekking through Western Europe, travelling on a selected group of routes called: El Camino de Santiago. (In 2017 I walked El Camino Frances). I will be getting my hands dirty while covering the many rural pueblos and big cities of Portugal and Spain, connecting you with the cultures that make these countries special to their citizens and indigenous. If all goes well after 2 or 3 pilgrimages and can gain a good following of subscribers and donations, then I will expand my travels to France, Italy and the rest of the world to bring you more adventures.
